Guinness World Record Pickled Eggs

Just to let you know that we are awaiting verification of a NEW Official Guinness World Record at eating three pickld eggs in a minute. The record WAS actually broken by nearly six seconds by a gentleman from Saltburn, watch this space.....

Rescued ducklings

My how these ducklings have grown in 3 weeks, even got there own swimming pool, fresh food all day, every day, love care and attention!!

It will be sad and lonely when we release them into the wild

New Ducklings at Grewgrass Lodge

Here are some new arrivals at Grewgrass Lodge, ducklings about 3 or 4 days old, one of our egg customers had them in his garden with there mother but they were being attacked by Magpies and Crows, I went to collect them, tried to collect mother but she escaped leaving me with the  ducklings, it was sad not to get the mother but it was a job that had to be done. Will keep you posted on how they are doing!

Bruce and Shirley

It is very sad to let you know that our beloved pet Bruce passed away on February 21st after a long illness, he is now back at home in his old place!

A new addition to the rescued animals here at Grewgrass is Shirley, a 18 -20 year old Shetland Mare who was taken from some undesirables 2 years ago after suffering beatings, and other untold assaults. She is now in retirement with our other Shetland Toby.
